One Person Dies in Fatal St Mary Accident

ST MARY, Jamaica – Twenty-eight-year-old Obed Jean, accountant of Charles Town, St Mary died as a result of injuries he received in a fatal collision on the Rio Nuevo main road in the parish yesterday.

Reports from police attached to the Tower Isles division are that about 10:30 pm, Jean was among a group of three passengers aboard a Toyota Isis motorcar when on reaching a section of the roadway the car overturned. The occupants were taken to hospital where Jean was pronounced dead and the driver and the other passengers treated.

The police say investigations continue.
