Soulja Boy Scammed Out of $175,000 in Hoverboards

Soulja Boy has been selling branded “Souljaboards” for $1,500 on his online store.

However he recently ran into some problems when he wanted to cash out as according to reports, Soulja Boy has been scammed out $175,000 by hoverboard purchasers using fraudulent credit cards.

“I need help all the payments are fraud,” Soulja Boy wrote in an email to Stripe, the company that processes his payments.

“And it sent my account to negative because they all say they weren’t authorized. please help in any way you can thanks. I don’t want to have to pay all this money because of frauds is there any way to reverse these payments and get my account to Good standing.”

Buzzfeed reports that more than 75 percent of “of all orders associated with (Soulja Boy’s) account were disputed after the fact” between June 30 and December 7.

This is not unusual in the world of hoverboards;popular hoverboard manufacturer IO Hawk has amassed a Stripe debt of over $900,000 from fraudulent credit card purchases.
