Tom Ford’s Drake Lipstick Sold Out In Minutes

Tom Ford’s Drake-inspired lipstick has sold out in a matter of minutes in the U.S.

The designer’s latest lip shade, inspired by the “Hotline Bling” singer, was out of stock on online fashion site Net-a-Porter just moments after it was listed on Monday.

A spokesman for the outlet revealed Tom’s New York and Chicago boutiques had also sold out with no plans to restock the item, however, Net-a-Porter bosses have promised more stock will be coming soon via its New Arrivals page.

Tom released the Drake lipstick as part of his hugely successful Lips & Boys collection, which made its debut last year.

The homage to the Canadian rapper, a deep burgundy shade, featured in its second run.

The collection is inspired by notable men in the designer’s life and was previously available for a limited time, but its success so far has led to rumours suggesting the line could become permanent.

While the speedy sales of the lipstick have left many American fans in despair, British lovers of the designer or Drake can still get their hands on the product via Net-a-Porter’s U.K. site.
